A dream takes root
Elle Pea Acres began in 2023, bringing a long-held dream of a small farm to life. Kiersten's childhood connection with animals and horses helped shape a vision built around flowers, alpacas and the land.
The journey north
After leaving their Florida farm, Kiersten and Thomas moved their animals roughly 1,300 miles to New York. Settling into the Finger Lakes meant repairing fences, clearing fields and preparing the first gardens alongside everyday work.
A first season to remember
The farm family grew with alpacas, rescue donkeys and Hodor, a Belgian mule. Thomas completed his degree in Sustainable Food and Farming, while Kiersten trained with Nova for endurance riding. The first flower and vegetable gardens and roadside stand marked important steps.
